A block of rooms are reserved at the Broadmoor Hotel for the Rocky Mountain Tax Seminar for Private Foundations.  The Broadmoor Hotel is within walking distance to the Penrose House Conference Center where the seminar will be held.  

Hotel reservations must be made by August 30, 2019

Complimentary shuttle service will also be provided from the hotel to the Penrose House.  The room rate is $305 per night (plus applicable fees and taxes), single or double occupancy.

About the Penrose House

Penrose House, the former home of El Pomar founders Spencer and Julie Penrose, now serves as an education and conference center available exclusively for the nonprofit community to gather, discuss issues, and discover innovative solutions to challenges facing their organizations and constituents.

Penrose House History

The one-story estate was built as a single-family residence in 1910 for Ashton Potter and Grace Goodyear Potter. They called it El Pomar because it was built on land that once belonged to the Dixon apple orchard, and El Pomar is spanish for apple orchard. The Potters did not live there long before both passed away, and in 1916 the home was purchased by Spencer and Julie Penrose. In the same year the Penrose's began construction of The Broadmoor Hotel and the resort's first golf course...
