Seminar Activities and Tours
Penrose Heritage Museum showcases the history and heritage of the Pikes Peak region through the personal artifact collection of Colorado Springs’ philanthropists Spencer and Julie Penrose.
Guests are encourage to visit and tour the exhibitions at their leisure. Museum Curators are on site to answer questions and share the history of the exhibits.
Open 9:00am-12:00pm and 1:00-4:00pm Tuesday - Saturday.
Located at 11 Lake Circle (across from the Broadmoor Hotel).
Penrose House, built in 1910, is the former home of Spencer and Julie Penrose. It is just one piece of the legacy left by the Penroses to the state of Colorado.
A guided tour is being offered on Friday, Sept 17th at 12:30pm (at the conclusion of the seminar). As you walk through each room, you will hear stories and see artifacts on the life and legacy of the Penroses.

Seven Falls in Colorado Springs is the only waterfall in Colorado to make National Geographic's list of international waterfalls. Visitors can view the scenic wonder of Seven Falls from either the top of the 224 step staircase or from the Eagle’s Nest viewing platform, which can be accessed via elevator.
Complimentary wrist-bands to visit the falls on either Thursday or Friday will be available. Hours of operation are 10:00am - 6:00pm. Complimentary shuttles run from the Broadmoor to the the falls.
